The Fixed Observation System

Electronic Broadcast have been in the forefront of the design and installation of classroom observation systems for Teacher training establishments. A video of classroom sessions can be made in real time and multiple images edited and digitally recorded on to a Personal computer. Edited sessions can then be backup on to CD or sent via LAN or the internet to other remote locations for viewing or teaching. LCD projectors and the new range of teaching boards can be utilised to enable teaching sessions to be relayed to large groups in multiple locations. We also provide Lesson Capture software for use with fixed classroom observation systems to aid staff development. Whilst operating the camera the observer can record and make time-stamped notes. They can also use counter and timer tools to collect data about teaching and learning behaviour. Also included is a playback and quick editing programme that allows the observer to add notes on the video itself and create instant Flash, Quicktime or Windows Media movies for immediate feedback for the teacher.
